Please join us in welcoming Dr. Alexandra Estrella, the new Superintendent of Gwinnett County Public Schools, as she shares her vision for the future of education in Gwinnett and discusses the opportunities and challenges ahead for our schools and community.

Dr. Estrella brings more than 25 years of experience in public education. Before joining GCPS in July 2026, she served as Superintendent of Norwalk Public Schools in Connecticut and previously held leadership roles with New York City Public Schools. She began her career as a science teacher and has served as a teacher, principal, school founder, and district leader throughout her career.
