John Mays

John will provide a personal injury attorney's point of view on tort reform legislation.

John is a civil litigation and trial attorney, who devotes his practice to injury, workers compensation, and wrongful death cases. John’s experience in the law began in Cedartown, Georgia, where he worked for the Parker & Lundy Law Firm through college and law school. Within his first three years of practicing law, John tried several cases as lead counsel. In his first jury trial out of law school, he obtained a jury verdict over 6x his client’s medical bills, in excess of policy limits, and has since won a majority of his cases including a bad faith judgment against an insurance company. Based on peer-review voting and other criteria, John has been selected a Georgia Rising Stars honoree as published by Super Lawyers.
