The February Luncheon will feature Gwinnett County's Clerk of Courts Tiana Garner & Probate Court Judge Christopher Ballar, who will both be providing legislative updates. 

Gwinnett County Clerk of Courts Tiana Garner

In 2020, Tiana Garner accepted the charge of our community to safeguard the administrative backbone of our county when she was elected as Clerk of Court. Prior to serving as Clerk of Court, Clerk Garner practiced criminal and family law. She also served in the Clerk of Court’s Office as Chief Deputy where her previous experience as a trial attorney and overall knowledge of the law prepared her to succeed my former boss, Richard T. Alexander, Jr., Esq., who honorably served the Clerk’s Office for nearly a decade before her tenure.

Gwinnett County Probate Court Judge Christopher Ballar

Hon. Judge Christopher Ballar served in Gwinnett’s Probate Court since 2013. In addition to serving in our county's Probate Court, Judge Ballar has held several leadership positions within the Council of Probate Court Judges of Georgia. In addition to previously serving as the group’s president-elect and vice president, he was also a member of the council’s Legislative Committee. Gwinnett County Probate Judge Christopher Ballar currently serves as president of the Council of Probate Court Judges of Georgia.
