Swearing In Ceremony- Newly Admitted Attorneys

The GCBA will be hosting a swearing in ceremony for new attorneys recently admitted to the Georgia State Bar. The ceremony will be held on October 20, 2023 at 6 p.m. at GJAC Auditorium.

New Lawyer Swearing In Instructions

Each of you should have received a Certificate of Eligibility to Practice Law. 

To streamline the administrative process on Friday, please email your Certificate to the Gwinnett County Clerk of Court PRIOR to Friday at Tiana.Garner@gwinnettcounty.com 

If you are unable to send before Friday, BRING your Certificate with you.

Lastly, please note the location change:

The ceremony will now take place in Nash Courtroom 101.

The easiest way to access is by entering from level 4 of the parking deck in the rear of the courthouse. The courtroom is just past security, down the right hand hallway.
